Car Rallies at The Thatch at Faddiley - SOUTH CHESHIRE RAIDERS : Raid to The Thatch at Faddiley

We enjoyed a splendid South Cheshire Raid on Wednesday. We started at the Alvanley Arms at Cotebrook, raiding Delamere Forest, Beeston Castle and Bunbury en route. Our evening culminated in a most satisfactory Supper at The Thatch.

On the evening, I’m afraid we exceeded our best expectations, with about 30 participants descending on you between 8 and 8.30. Your team coped admirably, and with great charm and patience. Your fine chef was most pleasant, and eventually persuaded to leave the Jaguar E-Type he so coveted in the car park. Please pass on our thanks to them all.

The Thatch is an admirable venue for car club outings, with its main road location amidst plenty of uncongested Cheshire lanes, and a spacious and safe car park. Your food and drink (including real ales) are excellent, and the service impressive as well as very pretty. I hope you can build business from groups such as ours, and ensure the future of yet another Cheshire country pub.
